Contract Types
- Elevator performance reflects your building image.
- Top elevator performance is a result of quality service through a program of preventative maintenance.
- Quality service and preventative maintenance shouldn’t be determined by cost alone.
SERVICE CONTRACTS
Stanley Elevator Company offers two types of service contracts, with flexibility for special circumstances. Our customers know
they will get professional and speedy service with either contract.
The reason for two options are many, including:
- Service agreements should depend on the budget and need
- Service agreements should be easily understood by all parties.
- Our standard agreements are for one year – not five and ten years, like other companies.
- Service contracts have a reduced billing rate for work outside of contract coverage.
CONTRACT TYPES:
EXAMINATION AND LUBRICATION SERVICE AGREEMENT
The examination and lubrication agreement is recommended for limited use / limited access buildings. This agreement is also suitable
for buildings with budget constraints, such as schools, municipal buildings and seasonal operation buildings.
This agreement is designed to provide a monthly maintenance inspection and to cover the costs of state required testing. Permit fees
in Massachusetts are covered by this agreement. This agreement can be modified to cover a bi-monthly or quarterly maintenance visit, as needed.
This agreement does not cover repairs, materials or call-back services. These services would be invoices on a “time and materials” basis.
MASTER MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT
This agreement should be elected whenever possible. It is designed to provide FULL SERVICE COVERAGE. With this service, your annual
elevator budgets are easier to manage because all costs are included in the contract. You will receive regularly scheduled maintenance
visits, state testing, call-back service and repairs during regular working hours and materials. Permit fees in Massachusetts are covered
by this agreement. Overtime coverage is available with this contract as well.
This contract is the best service value for your building. It is essentially an insurance policy for your elevator. From the time we
accept your elevator equipment under the terms and conditions of our MASTER MAINTENANCE service agreement, your worries about elevator
upkeep, preventative maintenance, repairs and testing are over.
IN THE LONG RUN, THIS IS YOUR BEST SERVICE AGREEMENT VALUE.
WARRANTEE MAINTENANCE COVERAGE
Warrantee Maintenance coverage is the period after a new construction installation is accepted by the owner and inspector. Our
warrantee maintenance coverage provides monthly maintenance, repairs and call-back services through the duration of the construction
contracts specified period, which is generally one year.
NON-CONTRACT SERVICE
All call-backs, regardless of the form of service, are dispatched expeditiously with the equal priority and promptness. However,
requests for service from our customers that have no form of maintenance agreement with Stanley Elevator, are handled on a "as can be
performed basis" because our contractual customers receive a greater priority.
