MODERNIZATION PROCESS (Step-By-Step)

Step 1: Contact Stanley Elevator: A Service Sales Representative is ready to assist you.

Step 2: Establish Objectives: At no charge, a Stanley Service Sales Representative will work with you to identify the benefits can you expect from modernizing your elevators. Objectives / benefits typically include some or all of the following:

  • Enhance System Safety
  • Increase System Reliability
  • Improve System Efficiency
  • Improve Ride Quality
  • Code Compliance
  • Enhance Appearance

Step 3: Determine Scope of Work: Stanley Elevator will dispatch a Field Operations Representative to conduct a free site survey. Stanley will evaluate the condition and viability of the existing equipment. The results of the field survey are then viewed in relation to your objectives.

Step 4: Capital Budget: Included in our free services, we will assist you with formulating capital budget. Typically the funds required to modernize elevators exceed those carried in an operating budget.

Step 5: Sales Presentation / Proposal: A Stanley Service Sales Representative will draft a proposal detailing the project and present it to you. If desired, Stanley will also prepare a formal contract agreement utilizing AIA Contract Documents. This form of contract includes standard, mutually beneficial terms and conditions that are intended to protect all parties.

Please Note: There are no charges associated with service provided in steps 1 – 5.

Step 6: Execution: The final and most challenging step in the process is execution. The Stanley Elevator Project Management Team will provide coordination and help guide you through all stages of the project from design...to fabrication...to installation... to acceptance and closeout.
